"During the lock down situation that our community experienced, it is very reassuring to know that appropriate steps were taken and plans executed, highlighting individual safety as a top priority. The letter home pinpointing the proactive steps was very well received, as another layer to the care and compassion that all at Home Again display.
The highest compliment that I can give you and your staff is when other prospective parents ask me about our family's experience at Home Again. Without hesitation, I can respond that our son is unconditionally loved, taught new things daily, and has grown with his social interactions with others. Coming from an educational background I know that this does not happen by accident. It is a testament to the planning, dedication, and caring nature that you and your staff display on a daily basis." Drew Bordner (Preschool Parent) Gull Lake Community Schools Director of Curriculum & Instructional Technology "As a parent, I have been impressed with the academic foundation that my children have created while being a part of Home Again’s programming. My children have benefited from the infant, waddler, toddler, preschool, and PreK classroom environments. They have learned many factual things such as letter and number recognition, basic phonics, vowel/consonant identification, colors, Spanish and German vocabulary, shapes, and weather concepts. They have learned to love learning through crafts, hands on sensory experiences, songs, and fun activities. Annual teacher initiated conferencing allows parents the opportunity to view formal assessment progress, discuss their child’s needs, and get a gauge for how they compare with peers on developmental milestones. The infant, waddler, and toddler rooms go above and beyond on communicating individualized information to parents on a daily basis regarding what was learned, how each child responded, positives about each child’s day, and any concerns/abnormalities that occurred. There is a genuine sense that the teachers know and value each child as an individual. Preschool teachers were receptive to providing positive feedback daily on behavior when requested and the Pre-K teachers have been proactive in connecting and providing a blend of structure and nurture in their classroom environment. Stephani Bowker, current program director at Home Again, has been receptive to supporting my children as individuals in their learning journey during these critically formative years." Carmen Maring (Toddler and Pre-K Parent) "I just wanted to give a shout out to Ms Cathy for making yummy, healthy snacks to try in the mornings and evenings. She’s done it a few times and my kids get so excited (even though they have already eaten). 😂 She has made homemade mini blueberry muffins, smoothies, healthy brownies, and peanut butter balls. Cathy is just another reason Home Again is on another level than other childcare options.
Thank you guys for this!!" Kylie and Scott Robinson (Toddler and PreK Parent) |
"We are so happy to be part of Home Again! The teachers are amazing and I love that the kids are held accountable for their actions, good or bad. They are growing so much emotionally and intellectually, and learning so much! We love it there and feel so accepted!"
Kara Schoder (Pre-K Parent) "I wanted to take a minute to brag on the Toddler and Waddler teachers for their professionalism. Today was one of the best planned field trips I have ever been on with my kiddos. It was low stress and lots of fun. I'm so glad to have been apart of it.
We're very happy at Home Again and we can't thank all of you enough." Rita Williams (Preschool and School Age Parent) "My children have both been at Home Again since they were babies, and I can't say enough good things about the programs and classrooms they offer. I truly believe the staff treat the children like they would their own family, and I know they are safe and nurtured at all times. Coming from someone who once wanted an in-home nanny, I can't say how grateful I am that we chose Home Again instead. Our boys have learned to socialize, solve problems, become responsible, and mastered learning and having fun in an environment outside of their home.
In adddition to daycare and preschool, both of my boys went through the Pre-K program and I have been amazed at what they learned and had fun doing so! Phonics, rhyming, lower case letters, science, music, foreign language, arts--it seems to be the perfect balance of academics and just letting them play and have fun being 4! The teachers are skilled because they have the background in early childhood education and it makes all the difference in the world. You can't put a price on your child's safety, happiness, and growth. Home Again has always kept open communication and been open to feedback as well. If you are considering childcare or a Pre-K program, I would highly recommend Home Again for your child!" Rebecca and Andy McCormack Words cannot express the thanks that my family has for each and every Home Again teacher that has been a part of our family for the past 3 years. We enrolled at Home Again when our daughter was three months old and are blown away by the care that we have received. Home Again works carefully to ensure that each child is loved and cared for, tailoring plans to help each child succeed. Our family expanded a year ago and it is amazing to have such a great place for not only our preschooler, but also our one year old. Home Again is truly a part of our family and we are so thankful for this home away from home for our kids to grow.
We are so thankful for you guys! Sarah (Waddler and Preschool Parent) |
